#16 Cause and Effect 04: Tournament Preparation and Vignes

Cause and Effect 04 is now up, and in this episode, the guys present tournament preparation and an analysis of the archetypical Vignes Deck.

Part I ---

• Five Best Ways to Prepare for Tournaments:
• Isak's list:
• Bring a sideboard
• Research the local/national meta (also in Adam's list)
• Choose decks carefully and opt every deck that you bring to a tournament event
• Talk to people before and during the tournament event
• Set yourself to high standards but don't start self loathing if you don't reach them
• Adam's list:
• Bring multiple decks with different weaknesses and strengths
• Optimize the decks
• Sleep and eat properly
• Discuss all these points with someone

• Notable additions: Force of Personality 

A quick personal comment: I particularly liked this section since I have built a Vignes deck but have some trouble winning with it.
Lesson learned: Play slowly.
